Guided walk in the threatened Knysna Sand Fynbos, Ocean View

The Outramps are a CREW (Custodians of Rare and Endangered Wildflowers) group made up of citizen
scientists that hunt for, and map rare and endangered plants in the Southern Cape. Data collected are
analysed by the Red List scientists to assess the rate of extinction of South African plants.
You are invited to join members of the Outramps on a guided walk in the endangered Knysna Sand
Fynbos on the Fynbos Trail at Ocean View, Brenton-on-Sea.
The slow 1.2 km walk will take about 2 hours. There is a steep incline with 107 steps. Bring water,
sunblock and a hat.
Cost: R20 p/p, a contribution to Outramps funds.
