This work profiles a desiccated Marsh Rose – Orothamnus zeyheri. Since 2006 it is considered to be Vulnerable (VU), which means that it faces a high risk of extinction in the wild. It has been grafted onto other root stocks in an effort to save this species.

This specimen was kindly received from Cape Nature and Sandberg Fynbos Reserve after an educational display at the Cape Floral Kingdom Expo in Bredasdorp. They came from a range of sources including the wild and KIrstenbosch National Botanical Garden.
